How did people contribute to the spread, severity and affects of the Black Death?
1. One of the biggest ways that people contributed to the affects of The Black Death was that they helped spread the disease. The rats and fleas that were the hosts of the disease were transported to Europe via trade, which was run by humans. When a human was infected, it also passed on the disease to other humans.

2. Humans did some horrible things in The Black Death. Some of the worst were murdering innocent Jews, the Brother of the Flagellants, and abandoning their family and friends.
|
3. They also did not know much about the disease, and this led them to ignorance and to try cures that only spread the disease more.

4. However, some good did come out of The Black Death. After it had gone, a new period of culture, art and literature appeared in Europe called the Renaissance.
